the imp reason i want it for is the image quality, i wont be zoomin in too much much i need a gud lense. so leica, carl zeiss, canon or nikon?
i m lookin for gud lense and image.
leica as many people dont knw it is the top of all cameras and start frm 600. they hav only 2 point and shoot and all others r for more than 5000$, and sony has a carl zeiss lense which is the second best and then comes the canon and nikon lenses.
How is it that a high-end Sony point and shoot can offer a Carl Zeiss lens with a maximum aperture f/2.1, a good zoom and a great Macro mode and still sell for only $350, when a SLR Lens alone with similar specs could cost three times as much?
What makes the SLR better? How can Sony offer an f/2.1 12X zoom for so little?
Stylist Explains Concept Behind Kobe’s “All White” Fashion Shoot
The LA Times Magazine made a spectacle of Kobe Bryant earlier this week when they released photos of Kobe shot by photographer Ruven Afanador. The look that the photographer was …
Its a sony cybershot and on the front of the camera it says carl zeiss and vario-tessar if that helps haha. Its 7.2 megapixels and i wanna know how to set it so that it shoots in black and white or sepia
I’d like to upgrade to DSLR, but after buying a body (D80) I will only have about $250 to spend on a lens. I’ve read lots of reviews on the cheaper models and they all seem to have lots of negatives, be it slowness, distortion, fringing, CA or softness. So I’m wondering if the cheap SLR lenses are just crap compared to good SLR lenses or if they are crap compared to point and shoot lenses as well.
Also, what would be the cheapest Nikon (Nikkor, Tarmon, Sigma…) lens is that will outperform the best point and shoot lenses like Sony’s Carl Zeiss and Panasonic’s Leica.
I’m thinking about getting a Tashica T4 with the Carl Zeiss lens. It’s out of production, though and I’d like something a bit more modern. I’d like something relatively inexpensive, so no more than $250 (if that’s even possible).
