Sell Art On the STREET?
You can now sell your art on the streets or in NYC Parks without a license, a permit or needing anyone’s permission!
One of the best ways to get your art in front of the public is to
show it on the street. It is now legal to create, display and sell art
throughout NYC on streets and in Parks without any license or permit.
An advocacy group, A.R.T.I.S.T. spent the past 13 years winning you
this right. Please check out our website. The site has all the vending
laws, which streets you can and cannot sell on and lots more but you
have to subscribe to access the full info. It’s completely free to
become a member. You may also link to our site and forward the address
to other artists you know.
We welcome you to join.

my boyfriend is always going out late at night to go “paint” with his friends..sometimes it bothers me because i know its against the law and if he got caught he could get into trouble..they paint on trains and stuff..its pretty nice stuff its not just tagging its like colorful and art but idk..im not sure how to feel..should i just relax?? its something he really likes to do. Ps. he’s not a gangster or anything like that!! he’s just an artsy kid.

Is this even possible? Or is there a site where they have names listed in graffiti already? By ‘graffiti’ i mean the REAL stuff like wat you see on the streets you know? I love the look of it. I just want to find my name to use as a wallpaper on my phone. If you have any suggestions as to where I could find this, please let me know! Thanks =)

I recently got into the hobby of graffiti. After a few days from practicing I’m starting to picture graffiti everywhere. On the walls, ground, mirrors, etc. this never happened before. Its really weird, is it possibly something mental or what?

I have to go to the Met tomorrow for school and I’m on my own with this. I got directions from a classmate but i’m double checking them and they don’t make much sense.
I’m going from New Brunswick, and am getting off at Penn Station. Then going to a 33rd or 34th st. Bus station? She said take the M4 bus, but on the NJTransit site, there WAS no M4 bus.
Help please!
EDIT: I just remembered! What bus should I take to get back to Penn Station?
