Can I buy Final Cut Pro without the whole Final Cut Studio package?

When I go to the Apple site, I find Final Cut Pro 7, click “buy now”, and it directs me to the Final Cut Studio package, which includes programs that I don’t need. Is there any way I can get just FCP alone?

This is no different than any other Software you buy there are several other applications that are added that you may or may not think you need. The same holds true with any other Editing Software.
You could try Final Cut Express, but there may be some options there that you feel you don’t need as well. If you need the software buy it. I am sure when you get a little more experience you will find you need those extras.

Yes. You could buy Final Cut Express, which is $800 cheaper, but has limited features than Final Cut Pro.
