I bought this as a replacement battery in October 2009. Well, it’s already losing power (Jan 2010) & will need to be replaced so I guess I got the “MISS” version of the “Hit or Miss”!

I needed to replace the battery for my HP iPAQ that I have purchased about 3 years ago, and the ones shipped just keep me going. The capacity of the replacements is just below the original, but I am happy to still be using my iPAQ.

I just purchased this for an extra battery because I will be using my PDA for Nursing, and do not want to have my PDA die on me.
This battery works great, it has a longer battery life than the original HP battery, and it is less expensive.
It shipped fast, and was the exact product as described.
If you are thinking of what to get, and wondering if generic will work out. Try this battery out. It really is a good deal. When I need more batteries in the future I will be picking up these generic ones!

I bought two of these, only the second one worked for the long term. The first one charged and seemed to work for a while. When I first charged it, it topped off at approx 67% charge. Then it slowly (over 2 weeks) would top off at lower and lower percentages. Finally, it wouldn’t charge anymore.
The second one started at 100% and charges back to 100%.
Bottom line: the quality is hit or miss, but if you’re lucky, it will work fine.

How can you beat this battery at this price? I was having problems with my $350 Ipaq not charging or resetting, and I was so worried that it was broken. Imagine my relief when a simple $17 battery was all it needed? The shipping was very fast, and I have not encountered any problems. If any problems do arise, what’s $17 to me?
