Artist on Sunday kite extravaganza: ‘It’s about interacting with people’
BRUNSWICK — When 59 handmade paper kites take to the sky over Farley Field House on Sunday, Bowdoin College art instructor Nestor Gil, organizer of “Papalotes!” or 59 Kites, will hold one of the strings alongside his two children, a handful of his Bowdoin art students and other community members.
