Last of the series, Richard Lewis, Whitemill, doing a couple of fields in Carmarthenshire. John Deere 6930 tractor with McHale Fusion 2 Baler/Wrapper. The New Holland with Claas 2900 is still raking in the field when it starts. Sun still shining, flies coming out to bite if you stand still too long!

Thanks Aled. I didn’t comment on your latest upload as it wasn’t really my sort of thing. . . Alan

Yes indeed. You have a reputation to maintain . . what about three Fusions in a row? Now, a rolling bale would be good – we saw one in Scotland in neighbour’s field, which rolled down the field, through the hedge/wall and down the next field towards the road. Unfortunately it didn’t make it to the road!!! . . . . Alan

Yes, that’s him. Nice guy. We had a chat later when I thought a saw a ewe fast in the hedge (but it was just curious, maybe a tractor-spotter!) . . . Alan

It was a chunky swathe alright. Much better than when we had to crawl under each time and replace a shear-bolt!
we have just got a brand new john deere 6830 premium.
he’s getting block a good few times? Swath might be to big for baler to handle? The drop floor on the baler is great for passing the blockage through though.
